Welcome to Black Bull Farm Shop

Four years ago Richard didn't have a roof over his head.

He documented every day of that journey on TikTok — not for sympathy, but because humour and honesty were the only tools he had left. People watched. People stayed. People cared.

That same stubbornness that got him through those days is the thing that built The Black Bull Farm Shop.

We're based in Mold, North Wales, and we are fiercely, unapologetically independent. Every single product on our shelves has a face behind it. A farmer who got up at 5am. A baker who has been perfecting that loaf for twenty years. A cheesemaker who knows every animal by name. We know who made it, where it came from, and why it deserves a place on your table.

We don't stock anything we wouldn't put on our own.

The Black Bull isn't just a name. It's a personality. Stubborn enough to back local producers when the supermarkets won't. Proud enough to tell you exactly what's in your food and who made it. Resilient enough to still be here when everyone said it couldn't be done.
